Buttercup
Buttercup isn’t just a goat—she’s part of Ryder’s story.
She’s the first to meet him at the gate every single day, always waiting before he even makes it to the pasture. Around here, she’s known as the “dog of the herd”—the watchful one who notices everything and makes sure nothing goes unseen.
But more than that, Buttercup represents something bigger.
She’s part of the daily routine that’s teaching Ryder consistency, responsibility, and trust. The kind that comes from showing up, day after day, to care for something that depends on you.
And Buttercup?
She’s right there with him every step of the way.

Margarita
Margarita takes her job seriously around here.
You’ll usually find her perched up high, keeping a close eye on everything below—our unofficial head of quality control. When Margarita’s on duty, you can bet the farm stand is open and the crew is staying in line.

Macchiato
Macchiato may be the youngest of the herd, but don’t let that fool you.
She’s always watching, learning, and quietly figuring things out from the sidelines. Too small to run the show just yet—but give her time. Around here, it’s clear she’s got big plans.

Oreo
Oreo is the easygoing one of the herd.
You’ll usually find him lounging, keeping the crew company, or right in the middle of the babies like he’s always belonged there. He’s Buttercup’s twin brother—and while she’s on watch, Oreo’s job is a little different.
He’s here to keep things light, keep the little ones entertained, and remind us that not every role has to be serious to matter.
This herd is being raised with intention—focused on learning, responsibility, and building a strong foundation over time. Each day brings hands-on experience, from feeding and health checks to understanding nutrition, shelter, and overall herd management.
Through this project, Ryder is learning what it truly takes to care for animals the right way—recognizing behavior, maintaining consistency in routines, and creating an environment where animals can thrive. These aren’t just daily chores…they’re real-life lessons in discipline, accountability, and pride in ownership.
While this isn’t a breeding program offered to the public, it is something just as important—
a young entrepreneur learning the value of consistency, hard work, and doing things the right way…one day at a time.
